…and now i present to you the totally radical engagement session of Katy and Ryan. They are such a beautiful couple inside and out and even though coming into it they said that they take “horrible pictures”, i might have to disagree. Enough talking already, here’s their “horrible AWESOME pictures”!

Perhaps one of my most favorite from the entire day.

Katy and Ryan wanted something fresh, fun, dark, and well… different. Katy happens to be into fairytales and the first thing that came to me was a little red riding hood concept. It sounded great but how to do it cool and whimsically AND not be corny or all around lame was a challenge but i love the shots we came up with. Here are a few of my favorites!

All that was needed for this next shot was a tripod, and iphone, and some speedy zapatos to run back and forth. Needless to say… after the fourth attempt to get this shot i was exhausted!

And for the grand finale we kicked up some dust, created a little smoke and BOOM goes the dynamite, haha.

I also wanted to say a HUGE thanks to Andrew for being my kick-ass assistant for the day. He also shot some behind the scenes video so stay tuned for another blog post soon! Good stuff.
